The 25 km route has been enhanced with the addition of some new sections. From Kwambo Club the route climbs up along a gravel road that will spread out the field, to the start of the first of many single track sections through Eucalyptus plantations  into a culvert crossing (rideable) and a short traverse into the adjoining tribal lands followed by a technical single track section (watch out for the tree stumps) and  a great downhill run back to the finish at Kwambo Club There is one water table at 13km . The route has 306m of climbing.

There is a nice surprise for riders doing the 2015 Kwambo Lion. Riders will be doing a section of the route in reverse from last years route with some new sections added.
The 50km is a good mix of single and jeep track with some technical sections and 600m of climbing. Starting at Kwambo Club the route climbs out from Kwambo into some Eucalyptus plantations, into a culvert crossing (rideable) taking riders into the rolling hills of the tribal lands west of Kwambo. After 17km, riders are faced with a grueling 2km climb to the highest point on the ride where they will get to the first of 2 water tables. There are King and Queen of the Mountain prizes for the first male and female summitting this climb. Thereafter follows a long sweeping downhill section to get the adrenaline pumping . After 32 km the route joins up with the 25km route with a mix of single and jeep track back down to the finish. There are 2 water tables on the 50 km route at 19 km and 35 km.
